SPRING (CYANOTYPE)
"SPRING"
original cyanotype, hand-crafted using a 19th-century photographic process
Four circles of light gather into one quiet landscape, like small moons meeting on paper.
This is part of my 'moon photography' series, images born from the tender meeting of light, time, and matter. The circular frames become small windows: fragments of a single space that together form a calm blue landscape.
Spring appears here softly
like the memory of a garden
remaining in the paper

**The cyanotype process is a photographic printing technique that produces blue-toned prints. It was first developed in the 19th century by Sir John Herschel, an English scientist, and is known for its distinct cyan-blue coloration.
